As a Chicagoan born and raised, Dana is passionate of the needs that exist in our city, which is why she works tirelessly as a 3rd-grade teacher in Chicago Public Schools and also is a volunteer mentor at SLAM! She walks Life-on-Life with her student, Melinda, a vivacious girl who dreams of being a social worker.

This year I am running in the Shamrock Shuffle for GRIP Outreach for Youth. This AMAZING program focuses on breaking the fatherless cycle, encouraging and teaching the Word of God and building life-on-life relationships with teens in Chicago. This program has opened my eyes and heart to the everyday struggles and joys these kids encounter on a daily basis.
Please consider donating to our cause. With your donation, GRIP can provide support for students, safe and engaging opportunities for students to participate in and the means to keep this wonderful program running.
