Office Positions

POSITION DESCRIPTION HOURS/WEEK PROGRAM
Grant Writer Assist in researching and writing grants for private foundations, corporations, and government. 2-5 hours GRIP
Web Designer Assist Communications Project Manager in redesigning the GRIP website (Design and development skill set required) 3-8 hours per week GRIP
Office Cleaning / Maintenance Basic cleaning of office space. Monthly 2-3 hours per visit GRIP
Envelope Stuffing Help stuff, label, and seal GRIP newsletters and mailings. Quarterly 3-5 hours GRIP

Program Positions

Referee Understand and enforce rules during game time at SLAM 6:00-9:30pm, Monday; 1 hour during the week GRIP
Referee Referee amateur basketball games, strong understanding of basketball rules and confidence in refereeing required 7:00-10:30pm, Tuesday of Thursday MBL
Creative Producer Oversee the production of the bible teaching time at SLAM, which may include sound, skits, and video during the Jam session 6:00-9:30pm, Monday; 1 hour during the week SLAM
Security Understand and enforce security policies 7:00-10:30pm, Tuesday of Thursday MBL
Scorekeeper Responsible for keeping score on the court for all 3 nightly games - at table, in book, and on scoreboard 7:00-10:00pm, Tuesday of Thursday MBL
Admin Team Lead Plan, lead and manage the Administration Team to execute the administrative needs of a SLAM night 6:00-9:30pm, Monday; 3 hours during the week SLAM
Admin Support Checks teams in; collect late paperwork and ensure the Sports Administrator receives it. Checks spectators in, making sure they sign-in appropriately before watching a game. Will inform spectators of MBL spectator rules and consequences. 7:00-10:00pm, Tuesday of Thursday MBL
Admin Support Check youth in, check coats/bags, keep score, and assist with other administrative needs. 6:00-9:30pm, Monday; 1 hour during the week SLAM
Adult Mentor Build mentor relationship with youth and participate in SLAM program activities. 6:00-9:30pm, Monday; 3 hours during the week SLAM
School Volunteer Help enforce security in the hallways of public high schools, build relationships with youth Weekdays - school hours GTS
Games Coordinator Train SLAM referees on games; research new games and activities for groups of over 100 people. 6:00-9:30pm, Monday; 2 hours during the week SLAM
Photographer Take pictures during programming and post editing. 6:00-9:30pm, Monday; 2 hours during the week SLAM
