Kellie Nelson
Programming Administrative Assistant
Kellie Nelson was born and raised in Colorado. She graduated with a B.S. in Human Resources from Trinity International University in 2003. Her first exposure to inner-city ministry was her senior year of high school. It was at this time that God began to develop her desire to work with youth.
In 2005 she joined SLAM as a volunteer and served as the LooseEnds Team Lead. Through God’s leading she was called to leave her job at AMETEK and join the GRIP staff full-time in July 2007 as the Programming Assistant. Kellie is an active member of Living Faith Community Church in Chicago, IL.
