Frank Vanderall
Communications Project Manager
Frank was born in the biblical-sounding city of Antioch, Il. However, growing up as a non-believer, his experience was far from biblical. In 2003, Frank moved to Champaign, IL to attend college at the University of Illinois. It was there his life changed forever when he had a radical encounter with Christ. Armed with a passion for his faith, a new wife (Cassie) and an appropriately titled B.S. in Advertising, Frank graduated from college in the spring of 2007 and moved to Chicago.
In October of 2009, after working for an advertising agency for two-and-a-half years, Frank sensed a calling from God to leave his job. Following weeks of prayer and a little sprinkle of divine intervention, Frank eventually made the decision to leave the marketplace and pursue a position in full-time ministry. Just two weeks later, he came on staff with GRIP Outreach For Youth and the rest is history.
Prior to coming on staff with GRIP, Frank served for two-years as a youth mentor at SLAM - GRIPs youth outreach program. He is still a SLAM mentor and currently resides just two blocks from the Cabrini Green neighborhood where most of the GRIP youth live. He and his wife Cassie are active partners at Park Community Church in Chicago, IL.
