Don Stubbs
Excecutive Programming Director
Don Stubbs was one of SLAM's original co-founders back in 1999. (Saving Lives thru Athletic Ministries - SLAM - is GRIP's sports outreach program targeting at-risk, inner-city high school youth.) Don has continued to serve faithfully at SLAM throughout the years as a volunteer, one of our drama directors, one of our core teachers, and as one of our overall elders - while working full-time for organizations such as Moody Bible Institute and Inner City Impact over the past 12 years.
God has given Don a huge heart of compassion for inner-city youth and urban churches, and most recently, He has been leading Don towards helping to build-out the GRIP organization on a full-time basis while continuing to spread the gospel through his own national speaking ministry (Off the Wall Ministries).
