Bryce Bowman

Bryce Bowman Program Director

Bryce Bowman grew up in a Christ-centered home as the son of a public school teacher and a former college and NFL football coach. Following his graduation from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 2000, Bryce served for 5 years as a Captain in the United States Army. In 2004, Bryce exited the Army and started his own Real Estate Development firm, while also earning his M.B.A. from the Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis.

GRIP became a major part of Bryce's life in 2007 when he began volunteering with the organization. In his second year of volunteering, Bryce took on a leadership role as a head coach for the SLAM program. All the while, God was preparing the way for Bryce to exit the corporate world to help further the vision at GRIP Outreach for Youth full-time. In early 2010, Bryce responded to God's leading and joined the GRIP staff as the Director of Programming for SLAM (Saving Lives through Athletic Ministry).

Bryce is married to Nikki, his wife of almost 6 years, and they are currently expecting their first child. Both are active members of Willow Creek Community Church and attend Willow's Chicago campus.
