PULSE

Purpose: To intentionally develop and empower student leaders and prepare them with relevant life skills.

Description: PULSE (Preparing Urban Leaders to Serve Eternally) consists of small groups of teens preparing for their next level of education, building job skills, learning to lead in their personal finance and home life, developing their talent, and developing their leadership… so that our young men and women become strong future leaders within their homes, churches, communities, cities, and nations.

Areas of training:

  • Education: Tutoring, GED preparation, ACT/SAT preparation, College application research & readiness, etc.
  • Job skills & Vocation Training: Computer classes, Resume building, Interviewing, and Internship programs
  • Home: God-honoring marriage, Money management
  • Talent development: Public speaking, dance, vocal
  • Leadership Development: Vision, Mission, Goal setting & priorities, Time management, Balance
  • Spiritual: Accountability
